Chevrolet SS Steering Column Lock Module (SCLM) Programming and VIN Security Linking

In this programming demonstration, we replace a Steering Column Lock Module (SCLM) in a Chevrolet SS.

There are only two required steps to replace the SCML Module:

1) Perform Flash Write.

2) VIN Security Link.

It is highly recommended to have a battery maintainer/charger fitted during both of these processes to ensure a stable and safe voltage is achieved through both procedures.

All you need to get setup and running is a windows laptop and OBDSync Suite which includes the required OBDSync Scan Tool and tokens to begin programing.
