How to Enable Rear Speakers on Holden VE Series 2 IQ Radio

The rear speakers are turned off by default in a Holden VE Ute. You can tell if the rear speakers have been disabled by also checking if the fader option is greyed out in the radio which is demonstrated in our video. By using OBDSync, you can enable the rear speakers to fit more speakers or run the outputs to external amplifiers.

This programming is also suitable for vehicles which have had a replacement radio from a Ute fitted into a Sedan and need to reconfigure to enable the rear door speakers.

After connecting to the vehicle and selecting the radio module, you will then have the Body Type option under the configuration menu which can be selected to Sedan to allow the rear speakers to work and unlock the Fader option in the radio.

This tutorial is suitable for all Holden VE Series 2, Holden WM Series 2, HSV E3, Chevrolet Caprice PPV and also Holden G8s with a Series 2 radio conversion.
