OBDSync is a Token based application where each vehicle module has its own token cost (Some modules may be 1,2 or 3+ tokens each).

Tokens are used to license specific modules in specific vehicles, unlocking programming and flashing abilities.
Each module, such as a Body Control Module or Instrument Cluster, must be licensed individually for the vehicle it is installed in.
Licensing is applied per vehicle, per module. This means a licence is tied to that specific module installed in that specific vehicle.
Replacement modules, or modules moved from one vehicle to another, will require a new licence.
The required number of tokens varies by module and can be viewed in the supported vehicles and options list below. Some modules may require 1, 2, 3 or more tokens.
Tokens can be added to your account at any time by purchasing token packages. Each token is $50 AUD, with discounts available for bulk purchases.
Once a module is licensed to a specific vehicle, it can be accessed and programmed as many times as needed, with no time limit or usage limit.

The OBDSync Suite includes one of our OBDSync Scantools, a USB Cable and a Token license serial.
We only support using the OBDSync Scantool or an OBDX Pro GT.
This ensures compatibility with each module and feature we release, along with future support for smartphone applications.
Tokens are $50aud each.
Different modules have a different token requirement, some may need only 1 while others need 2+.
Discounts for bulk token packages are available, along with workshop discounts if you are apart of our workshop program.
Each module in a vehicle has it’s own Token cost.
Our supported Vehicle and Module page indicates the token cost for each module along with the available capabilities for that module.

Unfortunately we do not have an outright option, we wanted the entry cost low, thus went with token based system.
These tokens also allow us to keep developing and adding new ECU support and capabilities.

Yes it is safe to use. Our software protection can be incorrectly flagged by antivirus unfortunately. You will have to add the software to the safe list to allow it to run.
The false flags occur due to our software not having a signing certificate yet, along with its internet requirement and software protection.

For example, if you required exactly 3 tokens, you can purchase the OBDSync Suite with 2tokens, then head to the dedicated tokens product page and add a single token from there to make a total of 3 tokens.
No, Each individual module must be licensed to the vehicle it is installed in.
This means each individual vehicle will require licensing its specific module.
If you replace a previously licensed module, the replacement module will need its own licence for that vehicle.
The same applies if you move a licensed module from one vehicle to another. Once installed in a different vehicle, that specific module must be licensed again for the new vehicle.
OBDSync is a token based application where each module in a vehicle must be licensed using a token.
Each vehicle module may have a different token cost to license and use all features available. (Some modules might be 1,2 or 3+ tokens each).
Once you have licensed a module (Such as a Body Control Module or Instrument Cluster) in your vehicle, you can make as many changes as you like, whenever you like!

Bought this software for a VE manual conversion to flash, sync and re-learn all necessary functions. Found it very straight forward once tokens are registered and modules licensed. Support was readily available for initial setup and any unexpected issues. Worked perfectly by following the demo videos online. Only suggestion is a link to the module registration video directly from the setup web page would be handy. Highly recommended this product.

OBDSync is by far the easiest vehicle programming software I have used. The software is straightforward, easy to understand and makes programming Holden/GM modules much less complicated.
Everything is clearly laid out, and you don’t need to be an expert to get the job done. The support is also excellent and very helpful when you need it.
