Holden VZ V6 Engine Control Module (ECM E55) Replacement Programming and Security Linking

The Holden VZ V6 Commodore Engine Control Module (ECM) is a commonly failure point in all Holden VZ V6’s, resulting in no start condition, fuel gauge errors or constant misfiring.

The engine computer can be easily replaced using OBDSync by following the following procedure:

1) Perform Flash Write.

2) Perform Reset and Security Link Learn (Requires the vehicle 4 digit immobilizer code).

3) Perform VIN Security Link.

After completing those procedures, the vehicle can then be started!
