The Holden VF Sensing & Diagnostic Module (SDM/Airbag Module) requires replacing and programming after a vehicle has been in an incident where the airbags have deployed.
This programming includes performing a VIN security link to program the correct VIN and security information to the module, along with performing an Options Configuration learn to complete the learn procedure.
Second hand modules from vehicles with deployed airbags cannot be used as they will not allow any programming.
This is a limitation of the airbag module itself and cannot be fixed through programming.
