This demonstration is for changing the instrument cluster startup logo and theme colour.
This tutorial is suitable for all Holden VF Commodores, VF HSV and Chevrolet SS vehicles.
There is only three main steps required to perform this modification which includes:
1) Make sure the vehicle has a good quality battery charger/maintainer fitted (Recommended 15amps+) first before doing anything.
2) Make sure the ignition is on (Green light on push start vehicles). Then make sure ALL AFTERMARKET ELECTRONICS are removed. This includes any aftermarket carplay kits, radios, gauges ect which may interfer with the flashing process.
3) Head to the Instument Panel Cluster (IPC) menu, click the flashing tab, then the Configurable Options tab, select the logo/theme and click write. This process takes approxmialtey 30minutes so the charger MUST be fitted and ignition must be on.
